Your role:

Working as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will join a team of Service professionals who have a great sense of pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service to our Wheatbelt, Midwest & Great Southern customers.

Your work will vary from being in the workshop - completing all fit outs of new and used Agricultural Machinery, prior to delivery - through to on-farm break down call outs and servicing.

Choose from any of our locations listed – Geraldton, Moora, Wongan Hills, Merredin, Kulin, Katanning, Albany or Esperance.

You will need to:

  • Be trade qualified – Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic
  • Have sound hydraulics and electrical knowledge
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence
  • Have exposure to agriculture machinery (preferred, not essential)

The role:

  • Presenting, promoting and selling products to existing and prospective customers

Parts Interpreter

Our Moora Branch are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person with an eye for detail, who is friendly, systematic and driven by achieving results to support our fast paced environment. This permanent, fulltime position is reporting to the Parts Manager.

A Parts Interpreters primary responsibility is providing customer service and expanding sales opportunities to existing and potential customers and therefore need to share the same value as we do in providing outstanding customers service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs
  • Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Assist with merchandising displays
  • Participate in stocktake
  • Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Seasonal Saturdays & on-call roster
  • Work along side the service department

Requirements:

  • Ability to work seasonal Saturdays and outside normal hours during peak seasons
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as we can provide you all necessary training
  • A supportive team player with a can do attitude
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek new parts sales opportunities
  • Previous experience arranging freight and transport is preferred but not essential
  • Have initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software is desired but not essential
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Ability to interpret a technical diagram is desired
  • While familiarity with agricultural machinery is desirable, a fast learner with enthusiasm for team-work and customer satisfaction will be looked upon favourably.

We are searching for candidates with a keen interest in technology, preferably in the agricultural industry, for our growing Precision Farming product portfolio - including systems for guidance, mapping, and variable rate (VRT) control applications.

Based in Wongan Hills, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated, "hands on" individual who has a passion for agriculture technology evolution. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships for new and existing agricultural management systems and technology. The individual will also be responsible for making field calls to troubleshoot/repair systems, perform updates on software, and train customers and internal employees on the set up of new equipment.

Candidates should have technical experience in operation and support of precision farming products such as VRT, GPS, Telematics and working with new and developing technology such as desktop software for GPS and Data Management.

Within a proactive and progressive team environment, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent long-term customer relationships along with:

  • Self-motivated and "hands on" with a passion for agricultural technology
  • Technically experienced in the operation and support of Precision Farming products (ongoing training will be provided)
